I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been given the Nagin Award for me Honors Thesis, a poetry collection called “The First Half of Everything”
The judge, Zach Harris, said the following about the collection:
This Honors Project captures a poet navigating the liminal spaces of early adulthood with wit, imagination, and grace. The speakers of these poems are both grown up and growing up, both sure and unsure, both lover, and beloved. “The insides of the wolf cannot be unseen,” Keats writes in “Case #2”, but that won’t stop these poems from asking to be ‘endless’ anyway.
